With less than a month to go until opening day Creative Rooms: Modelling With Light is shaping up to be an unmissable event.
This summer Creative Rooms will bring together a host of speakers, talent, and brands to talk about visual effects technology and how light is used to create digital - and physical - worlds. Our partners will be on hand to showcase the latest products and share valuable insights about what’s coming next.
Our pop-up studio is back, fully furnished with HP Z series workstations equipped with NVIDIA Quadro GPUs. And following a series of updates, we’ll have Autodesk’s latest software running so drop by to experience 3ds Max, Maya, and Shotgun.
We’re also excited to have Samsung returning - their SSDs will be adding storage capacity to our Flame certified workstations ensuring that artists can work with the real-time speed they need. We’ll also have a racked PixStor One - Pixit Media’s central storage solution for small to medium sized teams of artists.
All of this goodness will be wrapped up in our signature style, which features an industrial feel this time round. The Media Services Company are building us some custom desks for the studio and structures to mount the screens for our Z2 mini. The bar is back and we’ve gone for a bit of a retro break-out area with old school games like Super Mario Bros. and Mortal Kombat.
