Last night saw the 2017 AJ100 awards ceremony, hosted by the Architects Journal in the Tower of London.
The awards, which celebrate the best in architecture over the past year, are announced alongside a list of the largest 100 practices in the country. Among the names at its head are Escape Technology customers Foster + Partners, Zaha Hadid.
“We’re proud to see our friends at these leading firms being recognised for their incredible work,” says Nick Mathews, business development director at Escape Technology. “The list is full of familiar names and we’re looking forward to seeing the fruition of so many innovative and ground-breaking projects.”
Grimshaw has taken the Architectural Collaboration of the Year accolade for their work on Tensilation, while Make were recognised a number of times including best use of technology.
The evening was also used to support the victims of the Grenfell Tower tragedy in London. All donations are via managing editor Will Hurst’s Just Giving page.
