Sales Account Manager (North of England)

We’re looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager to continue our growth in the North of England. Working from our new office in The Sharp Project you’ll be perfectly presented, with excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with customers.

As a Sales Account Manager you'll be maximising sales to new and existing clients, while delivering an outstanding level of account management. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining and expanding client relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Generate new business
  • Build a territory
  • Research and recommend new opportunities
  • Create and close sales opportunities
  • Book and manage appointments
  • Answer customer queries
  • Arrange client site visits
  • Plan and execute company events with the assistance of our marketing team
  • Maintain and expand client relationships
  • Ensure in-house teams are kept up-to-date with sales and order information
  • Achieve sales targets
  • Report to senior management

Travel is a key part of this role and will involve the occasional overnight stay.

To be considered for this opportunity you will need a minimum of two years field sales experience. 

A degree (or equivalent) is beneficial, but not essential.

Well-presented and polished, as a Sales Account Manager you’ll need to be meticulous in your approach to details, articulate, and personable. Your dedication and passion for this role is key to the growth of this new and exciting region for Escape Technology.
