Powered by the latest Intel Xeon E5-2670 processors, the Boston Quattro 1264-T delivers outstanding energy efficiency and performance in a small but powerful enclosure. Utilising Supermicro’s innovative 2U Twin² system architecture, the Boston Quattro 1264-T is built with independent full-function system control and management.

Based on Intel’s latest generation Xeon processors and C600-series chipset, the server provides two 8-core Intel Xeon E5-2670 processors per node. This equates to 64 cores within the 2U enclosure and an incredible 1,344 cores when fully populating an industry standard 42U rack cabinet.

The Intel Xeon E5-2670 processors also offer PCI Express 3.0 and each node is complimented with a 16x PCI-Express slot with improved throughput to expansion cards over the previous generation. Memory bandwidth is also substantially increased via four memory channels per CPU, as well as through the inclusion of eight DIMM slots per node to enable capabilities of up to 1,024GB of ECC registered memory per 2U system.

As standard the Boston Quattro 1264-T is shipped with 128GB of RAM and 12 x 2TB 6Gb/s SAS HDDs, which equates to 32GB of RAM and three SAS drives per node.
